People are Unique

They should not be labeled.

The individual often has a resilience that is surprising even to them. I approach each person from a holistic point of view that recognizes mind, body, and spirit as integral aspects of them. Counseling and psychotherapy are relationships that should be built on trust, listening, and most of all, a deep and abiding respect for each individual's strengths and capacities. This approach is consistent with assisting each person whom I work with to "find their inner voice".

Dr. Komie's Focus

I am very concerned with self-esteem issues, assisting people in developing their sense of their own competence, and also helping people find ways to replenish their psychological energy by learning to identify and listen to their own inner strivings and needs. I am also very interested in assisting individuals in developing and implementing their economic goals for financial independence and career success.

Internal harmony and being well-grounded in oneself leads to success and growth.
